What was the highlight of Taipei Oxygen Hostel

In short, I had a relaxing, pleasant stay in Taipei.

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the communal areas were welcoming and chill.

I found the space in my room a bit limited, and unfortunately I didn’t have the best roommates (but this is not the hostel’s fault), just noisy and disrespectful of others.

Stinky bathroom and comfy bed

Bed is nice, very isolated from noises

The toilet was the stinkiest I have ever seen before. The reason is that the didnt clean it enough. Toilet paper might finish during the day and it would take several hours to be replaced.

Overall satisfied.

Female floor was clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. Great facilities and staffs were friendly. There was a bar and cafe on the 1st floor which was nice to hang around. The location was convenient as MRT and Taipei Main station was within walking distance. It was also surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurant.

The male bathroom was dirty and smelly. Lounge were also dirty and require more frequent cleaning. Signage to remove shoes at the lounge should be bigger because it was easy to miss.

Comfy and clean hostel, 10min walk to Taipei Main Station

I booked a single bed in a 4-bed dorm room. The bed was a bunk bed, with a good mattress. The bed comes with its own plug socket, its own light and a privacy curtain (even for the upper bed). For this dorm, there are pleinty of bathrooms, toilets and sinks. The bathrooms were clean, with a power shower and hot water. The dorm has lockers. The common space on the ground floor is very nice and friendly (it is a bar). They also have a cosier common space on the top floor. I did not use the wifi, so I cannot comment on how good is the signal. They do not provide you with a towel. It does NOT include breakfast. They provide you free water refill. They can store your luggage for free up to 24h. They have coin washing machine and dryer (I forgot about the price) The hostal is well located, close to many spots to eat out and mini markets. 2min walk to 228 Peace Park. 5min walk to Ximen. 10min walk to Taipei Main Station. The staff is friendly and speaks a good english if needed. I would definitely recommand this place for a short or long stay.

The common space in the dorm is a bit tiny for 4 people, but once in your bed, it is quite comfortable.

The room had a great value price for the night.

The room had a great value price for the night. I believe it was approximately 340NT for one night. The location was great.

The only thing was that towel rental (120NT) seemed a little expensive.

A good bed in the town. Nothing less, not much more.

Although a bunk bed dorm, as expected, the room had a real, openable window. With a view!! For a capsule-style hostel a real treat. Everything worked as promised, cleanliness, bathrooms, lockers, pass cards, wifi. The central location was great, just a short way, across the lovely Peace park, to NTU Hospital metro station. And yes, a "secret" roof spot with a table for two, for smokers or otherwise, to enjoy the night air and skies, or a morning coffee.

For the price, nothing I could think of.

The place had a great location, since everywhere in Taipei...

The place had a great location, since everywhere in Taipei was accessible easily by taking a bus or MRT.

The room was not clean enough and I felt like I am in the underground somehow, but this place would be a good choice if you are thinking the price as the most important factor.

good location, helpful staff, nice ammenities

good location, nice amenities, large lounge with small kitchen facilities such as microwave and sink. Hot and cold water is also available for free. location was good and located within walking distance of Taipei Main Station, the Ximending Walking District. Nearest train stations are Ximen Station (Blue and Green line) and NTU Hospital Station (Red line), both just a few minutes away walking. Taipei main station is about 5-10 minutes walking. beds are comfy and have a privacy curtain. The AC in the room keeps the room smelling clean and not like a typical hostel dorm. There is a central restroom / shower with about 5 showers and 3 water-closets for the mens floor (4th floor). 24-hour front desk staff

the wifi was spotty at sometimes on the top floor in the lounge.

Great

The front desk they are so accommodating and everytime i came back at the hostel they always greeted me.

The fire alarm its not good its disturbing. My toiletry has been missing., and also some staff is not accommodating specially the house keeping, but all in all its good.

Very good

Very good price quality ratio, clean, close to Ximen and Taipei Main station. Had to switch rooms after one night (was initially placed on the women's floor), staff transferred all my luggage for me to new room and even got a free drink at the bar.
